Hematology is the branch of medicine focused on the study, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases related to blood and blood-forming organs. It also covers disorders of the bone marrow, lymphatic system, and spleen.
Hematologists work closely with oncologists, pathologists, and internal medicine specialists to manage a wide range of conditions, from anemia to complex blood cancers.
